Year of the Snake
A year long program for teens
Unlike any other Wild Intelligence program that has come before, The Year of the Snake will be an unfolding adventure of creative empowerment and deep nature connection amongst a group of 12 teens ages 13-17 and 3 mentors over the course of 8 months - 1 weekend a month. Each weekend will bring a mix of relaxation time to unwind from their week at school as well as life pressures, opportunities for deepening community bonds, fun and playful edge pushing through activities and games, opportunities for creative expression and self examination, as well as facilitation in developing deeper awareness and practical hands on relationships with the natural world. Our intention is to create a safe space for the teens to just be themselves, to have a ton of fun, to experience the tight bonds of community, and to co-create an epic adventure.
Dates: September 5 – 6, Oct 17-18, Nov 21-22, Dec 12-13, Jan 9-10, Feb 13-14, Mar 20-21, and April 17-18.
Times: Drop off will be at 6:00 pm Friday evening. Pick up will be at 1:00 Saturday afternoon.
Location: 25 beautiful acres of forest, creek, and springs located at 3065 Smokey Road across the street from Orange Twin at Pipsissewa Farm
